School Linking

Following a visit by 8 young Nicaraguans to Leicester in 2001 (funded by the Leicestershire District Woodcraft Folk), a school-linking project was initiated between Judgemeadow Community College and the Instituto Central Carlos Vega Bolaņos, the biggest secondary school in Masaya. Two computers were donated and an email link has now been established to enable the students and teachers in both cities to communicate and work on joint projects.
