East Midlands Network for Global Perspectives in Schools

The LMLG holds accreditation as a Development Education Centre and contributes to a regional strategy for bringing global issues into the school curriculum. The East Midlands Network for Global Perspectives in Schools is a partnership of organisations actively involved in promoting global citizenship and sustainable development. It is funded by the Department for International Development (DFID) and aims to raise levels of development awareness in schools and meet the Millennium Development Goals. As a member of EMNGPS we work alongside other local and national organisations and the Local Education Authority (LEA) to provide support and resources for global citizenship for city schools.
